Hayden's birthday is not until Thursday the 21st but his party was on the 9th due to Easter weekend. He is a big 4 years old. The party was at Chuck E Cheese- what fun for kids. Here are some pictures:

SPRING BREAK!!!

I know I am behind on my blogs. I am going to try and catch up. Fred and I went to Rockport for Spring Break. We had a GREAT time with our friends Lyn and Ronnie. On the way there we stopped at a Catholic Church. It was beautiful. It is part of the Painted Churches tour in that area. On Sunday we went to Corpus Christi and tour the USS Lexington. I was very interesting. It was very windy and chilly that day. Fred's dad serve in the Navy and was on a ship similar to the Lexington. Here are some pictures:

Fred and I took Addison and Hayden to the Charlie Brown ICE show over the holidays. It was amazing and very COLD! We had never been to the Gaylord and it is a facsinating place. Loved it!

This is what Fred looked like when we came out of the ICE exhibit. His glasses froze over. It was so funny.

Fred and I went to Canton yesterday. I had never been and I have to say I was very overwelmed. That place is huge! We bought a few things but nothing really great. But we still have a great time with Greg, Babette and Tiffany.

We went to the Circus with April and the grandkids about a month ago. Brad was in California at the time. We had a great time.

Friday was Grandparents Day at Addy's school. I got to go and have lunch and then we went to the Library and they took pictures. It was fun. I think Addy really enjoyed having me and her Nana there.

Yep - that is me. Yuck! But I was freezing! This was the day we got there and is was drizzling and the wind was blowing like crazy.

Fred and I went to Colorado last week. We had a great time. Fred caught lots of fish. We brought some home so we are going to have a fish fry for Nathan's birthday. It was so nice and cool there. I had never been to Colorado so I was really excited to go. We stay in Lake City with some friends. They have rented a house for 2 months this summer. Here are some of the pictures from out trip. Next week back to school. Summer vacation is OVER :(

The Great Sand Dunes National Park was really cool. There are these sand dunes surrounded by mountains. Really strange.

Fred fishing in this stream that ran right down the middle of Lake City. So nice.

This is the house we stayed at. It was really nice inside. All the comforts of home. These are our friends/hosts. We had a great time. Thanks Lyn and Ronnie. See ya in September.

Got a new car....

I got a new Tahoe last week. My other one was 7 years old. The color is called Blue Granite. We test drove several different SUV's and finally decided on the Tahoe. Fred shopped around and got a really good deal. Looking forward to taking it on the road when we go to Colorado next month. We are going to Lake City. I have never been to Colorado so I am looking forward to it.

Fred went to Tractor Supply yesterday and came home with a puppy. They told him she is part lab and part retriever. She is 9 weeks old. I dont know what he was thinking. We do not need another dog. We are going to Colorado for 7 days next month, what are we going to do with her while we are gone. OMGoodness! Well she is a cutie and we will probably figure something out.

Today was a day off from school because of ICE! I really needed the time to just chill. We had fire all day in the fireplace and it was just so relaxing. Back to school tomorrow. Only 6 weeks til Spring Break!

Saturday, Me, Ashlee, Eric, April , Addy and Hayden went to Northpark Mall in Dallas. We had such a fun day. I love going over there at Christmas time. The sights and sounds are just so nice. We went to the trains first. Hayden and Addy loved it! We had lunch and shopped. By the time our number(81) came up , we were READY! Addy would not tell us what she was going to tell Santa she wanted. Hayden just kept saying "santa". Well Addy got right up there and told Santa she wanted a pink toy kitchen. Hayden would not let go of April to even sit in his lap. So April had to be in the picture. Still got some cute pictures. I highly recommend Northpark Mall for the holidays. Especially if you have small kids, they will love the trains and Santa.

My oldest son Brad is co-founder of Ustream.tv. He was on the Today show this morning being interviewed by Lester Holt and Amy Robach. Have you heard of the puppy cam? Well it is all over the internet, started on Ustream. I dont get it but people want to watch these cute little puppies sleeping . Just tonight there are 31,000 people watching it. I dont get it......

Today is my birthday so Fred and I met Brad, April, Addy and Hayden, Ashlee and Eric at the Olive Garden in Weatherford for lunch. It was really good. The kids were great and I got lots of presents. Addy made me a homemade card. It is so cute. I love it!!

Fred and I got to babysit Addison and Hayden this weekend. We went to Addy's soccer game. She played goalie part of the game. She saved 3 goals. She was so proud of herself. We then went to see Uncle Nathan and Holly. We then went to Chick Fil A for lunch. The kids had so much fun in the playground. Then went to Mim and Pipi's house. They just played and played.
They love to come and play in the country. Our friend came Lyn and Ronnie came over for a visit. Lyn and Addison were busy coloring. Sunday we went on walks and watched the cowboy game. :(
